Experience:
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing...and vice versa!! I have a background (20 plus yrs) in floral design. I'm also a wedding and event co-ordinator, and have also been a hands on decorator and planner at many functions, in my career. Weddings, Conventions, Christmas parties, Baby showers, Theme parties, and so much more. From the food... to the party favours, and the etiquitte involved. My favourite thing to do is to plan low budget events such as weddings.
I also have picked up many other interests along the way. Just plain old life experience and common sense is what I have to offer. If you are looking for someone who will listen and pay attention, then I'm your girl. If you don't like what I have to say, that's fine with me. If I don't agree with what you say, I will tell you so. I'm easy going, but not a pushover! I care about others, and am happy when someone returns the same in kind! If backed into a corner, I will walk full speed ahead in my own defense, or in the defense of my friends.
I'm a dog (pet) lover, and have had dogs all of my life. I've learned many things along the way, as well as volunteering at the local shelters and for the Humane Society, and other animal related charities. I have gained alot of knowledge about the canine variety. Training techniques, health issues, and and general behavioural traits.
I also have plenty of relationship/family/child experience. I hold no degrees in this area, but life experience is sometimes just as helpful as book experience. It takes a villiage. I try and use compassion when giving advice on relationship issues, but I will also tell it like I see it.
I love music, and couldn't live without it. It has enhanced my life greatly. I'm not a big fan of Rap, Hip Hop, or Opera, on the other end of the spectrum. Give me a song that has some meaning, or a good beat, and I'm right there. I grew up around a very musical family, and everyone played an instrument, and my parents owned a large music store, and most things revolved around music.
I also love gardening and cooking. I have got a ton of old family recipes, and I love collecting more. I collect dolls, and antiques. I love to search at antique shows, garage sales, etc., for odd and unusual items, and sometimes refinish them. I see the beauty and potential in many things the others would just leave behind. That also includes people in general.
So there is just a little of my story. There are many more chapters, but that is the super condensed version. And....did I mention I can be uber-sarcastic?
I can be that way to my own detriment at times, but I'm usually sarcastic to the people I love or like the most.
